Why don't I just flush my money down the toilet?" -George Costanza, Seinfeld da Scene: On a referral from my cousin I found myself at Dave's a few months ago for some routine work and check up... the ol'Explorer had been sitting awhile and I am trying to get it ready for my daughter to start driving. They were quick & efficient, nice folks, seemed to be trustworthy. Big deal for me as I'm no mechanic, if ya told me "you need a new johnston rod installed..." I'd say Ok, go for it. They did mention a few things that might need attention, filed for future reference. da Work: Fast Forward 6 months and after some driving, I noticed some things that worried me safety-wise, for comparison I had the dealer take a look and the quote was about 50% higher than what Lisa had quoted me, so back to Dave's for more. A fair amount of work for a 2000 Explorer with 275K miles and a blue book of maybe 6K? But I'm nostalgic about my 1st new truck, so I'll keep her going as long as I can. Some parts are hard to come by, so they had to make some pivots and fabrication to get things going but she drives smooth, so I'm happy. da Service: A little hiccup in delivery time and pickup, but they made it right with an invoice adjustment... I felt WELL compensated. Things happen, sometime ya just gotta roll with it - in this case working through the issue and keeping communications open & cordial resulted in a reward financially. KUDOS to Dave's ownership/management for the great customer service & professionalism.

Dave's Auto Repair never lets me down. The owner is honest, professional, and has great customer service. They always explain needed repairs (if any) and provide options. There is never any pressure and did I say they are HONEST! I will never go anywhere else, I am glad I found Dave's Auto Repair.

Great job, took me in the day I called and had the alternator repair done before close of business! This was my 4th visit for various repairs like auto power window not rolling up, locks not locking and smog prep.

Had my car serviced 2/1/23. Oil change filter, tire rotation and all brake pads replaced., they measured the rotors to see they were not at the minimum requiring replacing. Lisa and I discussed the work I wanted and we agreed on what would happen. Lisa is very knowledgeable about cars and how she sees to do necessary work . Have been using them for many years on both my vehicles. Great garage great people.
